Yelena Shirkin, DDS

Yelena Shirkin, D.D.S. is a respected dentist serving a diverse community across the greater Baltimore region for over 13 years. Dr. Shirkin joined Baltimore Dental in 2006 and became a partner in 2007. Dr. Shirkin's close partnership with Dr. Feinsod for over a decade helped create a strong foundation for an exceptional quality of care that reaches thousands of patients across the Baltimore area. Dr. Shirkin graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006. She also completed an externship in pediatric dentistry and volunteered across Baltimore City elementary schools, where she introduced oral health education and preventative dentistry for children. Dr. Shirkin earned her undergraduate degree from Goucher College, where she majored in microbiology and minored in economics. She graduated from Beth Tfiloh High School in 1996 and lives in Baltimore with her husband and two children, who are in high school at Beth Tfiloh High School. Dr. Shirkin immigrated to the United States from Ukraine with her family at the age of 13 and is fluent in Russian. Dr. Shirkin is passionate about delivering outstanding service, preventative care, patient education, and improving quality of life, one smile at a time for patients of all backgrounds.

Rebecca Allen, DDS

Rebecca Allen, D.D.S. has been practicing dentistry for ten years in a variety of clinical capacities, most recently at Dental One Associates of Westminster. A native of Frederick County, she received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her DDS degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation she received the National Award in Dental Care for persons with disabilities from the Special Care Dentistry Association for her work in the Special Patients Clinic at the university. She is married to her wonderful husband, Dan, and has two spirited (and also wonderful) children, Louis and Alexandra. She is happy to be working in the Pikesville area as this is where she and her husband lived right after getting married. Additionally, Dr. Allen’s father taught at Yeshivat Rambam for seven years. She has been so happy to meet some of his former students as patients at Baltimore Dental! When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Baltimore Orioles, and traveling.
